The Accra–Rome route, as the only direct connection between Ghana and Italy, marks a pivotal step for ITA Airways in establishing a stronger presence in West Africa. Following this launch, the airline plans to inaugurate a new flight from Rome Fiumicino to Dakar in July, further expanding its reach in the region.
Operating with the new Airbus A321neo aircraft, ITA Airways offers a modern and efficient travel experience, with three separate cabins catering to different passenger preferences. The aircraft's advanced features and environmentally friendly design reflect the airline's commitment to sustainability and passenger comfort.
With this new route, ITA Airways now operates 57 destinations in the current summer season, including domestic, international, and intercontinental flights.
