"There's too much leather," said no one, ever. Well, that's what Toyota is hoping when it comes to its 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition that comes smothered in as much ultra-premium leather as the roomy interior will hold, as well as sprinkled with an extra dose of off-road capability. The special truck, limited to only 1,500 as designated by a fancy embossed 1794 Limited Edition dashboard label, fittingly was introduced at the State Fair of Texas.
The 1794 Limited Edition is only offered in the CrewMax cab, 5.5-foot bed, four-wheel-drive configuration and is powered by the i-Force Max hybrid engine with 437 hp and 583 lb-ft of torque. Pricing has not been announced, but the "standard" 1794 Edition trim (not the 1794 Limited featured here), which falls below the TRD Pro and Capstone in the lineup, starts at about $63,000. The 1794 Limited will be offered in Wind Chill Pearl, Midnight Black Metallic, Blueprint and Smoked Mesquite exterior colors.
Toyota collaborated with the Saddleback Leather Company when it came to sourcing the flawless ultra-premium leather and working up the perfectly beautiful interior that's capped by cool seatback saddle bags with functional flaps and buckles. As a bonus, owners receive a couple of matching goodies from the Saddleback Leather Company in the form of a large overnight bag, tool roll, owners' portfolio, key glove (a functional leather pouch for your key fob), and a small pouch. All of these accessories have 1794 Limited Edition embossing that matches that truck's production number.
With 1.1-inch raise, 2.5-inch Fox internal bypass shocks with piggyback reservoirs, and off-road-appropriate wheels and tyres, the 1794 Limited Edition gains some more muscle. That is TRD Pro material! The ruggedly upscale appearance is finished with a dark chrome grille and body side mouldings, black-out exterior highlights, distinctive emblems and a specially stamped tailboard.
The 2024 Toyota Tundra 1794 Limited Edition will moooo its way into dealerships in spring 2024.
