Drivers affiliated with Yango, the leading ride-hailing service, have recently disclosed that major updates to the platform such as improved earnings and flexible mode, alongside the introduction of Yango Map and Yango Pay have had a significant positive impact on driving experience. These changes are said to have not only enhanced overall convenience but also boosted productivity whilst on the app.
In line with its mission to deliver a convenient and safe transportation solution to Ghanaians, Yango continues to enhance its value proposition on the national ride-hailing market by regularly implementing modifications and introducing new features that provide an elevated riding experience for both drivers and passengers.
Based on feedback received from Yango's partners, drivers, and users in general, these new adjustments further enforce Yango's dedication in catering to their community's needs.
“There have been some modifications to the Yango app and they’ve been quite beneficial. There’s been a revamp in the payout system and recently, they launched Yango Maps which is advantageous for drivers to keep track of their earnings on each trip.
We [drivers] now have the option to pick our preferred map and I must say it has made a positive impact on my job. For drivers on the flexible mode plan, we have an edge since we don’t get charged much commission,” articulated Rexford Cudjoe Mensah, one of the drivers during an interview.
According to him, these latest enhancements on the Yango App have also heightened driver security and enriched user's experience on the app.”
"I can say that Yango is a very responsive app, in that the company pays attention to feedback from drivers regarding industry trends and difficulties and takes necessary action on them," he continued.
Compared to when I first started using the app while driving, this has dramatically improved the app experience.
A second benefit of using the "Flexible Mode," according to Mr. Cudjoe Mensah, is that it relieves stress by relieving the driver of having to worry about the number of trips, uploading their balance, and their revenue.
The majority of drivers are always prepared to drive in the flexible mode because of the many advantages that it offers, he continued.
