ASKY has initiated the "Fly Asky to Luanda" campaign

An advertising campaign has been initiated by Asky Airlines to promote its scheduled three-weekly service to Luanda, the capital of Angola.

The management and personnel of the Airline, headed by its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Esayases Woldemiriam Hailu, were seen wearing T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "Fly Aska to Luanda" and displaying pull-up banner and other promotional material in the Terminal 3 departure area of the Kotoka international airport (KIA).

Government officials of the Embassy of Angola in Ghana also contributed to the promotion of the new service.

Beginning on August 2, the Luanda flights will be run via ASKY's hub in Lomé, Togo, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. As a result, travelers starting their journey from Accra, Ghana now have a more convenient option.

The new service would be run using one of the recently leased Boeing 737 MAXs, Mr. Esayas Woldemariam Hailu confirmed to thetransporteronline24

As a result of TAAG Angola's exit from the Ghanaian market, the new service will improve connectivity within the area and within Africa, as well as between West, Central, and Southern Africa on ASKY.

The entire schedule and prices are currently on sale in a number of GDS.

The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), the West African Development Bank (BOAD), and the ECOBANK Group (ETI) collaborated with Ethiopian Airlines to launch ASKY, The Pan-African Airline, a 100 percent privately owned airline.

ASKY is a business entity governed by private law that is run by seasoned African aviation experts with Ethiopian Airlines serving as a key strategic partner.

ASKY's fleet includes two (2) Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, nine (9) Boeing 737-800 aircraft, four (4) Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and twenty-seven (26) cities spread over twenty-four (24) African nations.
