Dr. Bawumia, Vice President of the National Economic Council (NEC), has met with UK automotive industry players to promote Ghana's investment opportunities.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Vice President's working trip to the UK.
He said that he held meetings with UK auto giants to look for ways to invest in the automotive industry in Ghana and also set up the UK Ghana Investor Group.
He said that the main aim of the meetings was to build a business relationship that would be beneficial to Ghana and the UK investors.
He also said that it was "very encouraging" to see how determined UK auto industries are to create partnerships and invest in Ghana.
