The Interministerial Advisory group for Railroad Framework (COMIFER) had its 39th meeting after which the Ministère des Transports Cameroun demanded that rail line programs be carried out quickly.
This includes completing the final phase of the five-year Stage One Railroad Venture Program (PQ1), which entails updating the media communications supply route between Douala and Ngaoundere, procuring train carts, and expanding the public rail route organization.
Moreover, the finish and refreshing of the five-year Rail line Speculation Program Stage Two (PQ2) are being ready.
One of the ventures is the Belabo-Ngaoundere railroad redesign, which is financed by the European Speculation Bank and the French advancement organization AFD. In May 2022, the European Association consented to give €123 million to help the redesign of the 330km Belabo-Ngaoundere railroad line.
