Air Peace begins to fly Nigerian pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj



Air Peace launched the 2023 Nigerian Hajj airlift on Friday, with the first flight of intending pilgrims taking off from NAIA in Abuja.


According to Nigerian Flight Deck, Air Peace was one of the approved air carriers for the Federal Government's Hajj airlift, and had signed a contract with NAHCON earlier this month.


During the signing ceremony of the agreement between Air Peace and the National Agency for Harmonization in the North-East (NAHCON), the Chairman of Air Peace (Air Peace), Barrister Allen ONyema, declared that Air Peace is committed to the welfare of Nigerian pilgrims and that the operation is being carried out for the pride of the nation.


It was also reported that Air Peace will be providing airlift services to the following states: 


Kwara 

Ekiti 

Ondo 

FCT 

Gombe 

South South 

South East 

South East


Hajj (Arabic for “Hajj pilgrimage”) is an Islamic religious pilgrimage that takes place every year in the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. This year’s Hajj runs from June 26 to July 1
