Ibom Air Starts Regional Flights With Lagos-Accra-Lagos Service

Ibom Air is pleased to announce the commencement of its regional flights, starting with the Lagos-Accra-Lagos service. This new route marks an important milestone for our airline as we expand our operations beyond domestic flights. 

By offering this service, we aim to provide our passengers with convenient and efficient travel options between Lagos, Nigeria and Accra, Ghana. This route will not only cater to the growing demand for air travel between these two major cities but also strengthen the economic and cultural ties between Nigeria and Ghana.


Maiden Flight

Ibom Air, the Akwa Ibom State-owned airline, has commenced scheduled commercial flight operations from Lagos, Nigeria to Accra, Ghana.

The airline’s maiden flight touched down at Accra’s Kotoka International Airport at 7:36am local time on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 to a water cannon salute.
