Ghanaians can now buy their own cars thanks to a collaboration between three companies.
Volkswagen Universal Motors, Access Bank Ghana, and Allianz Insurance are the three companies.
Customers can acquire any Volkswagen (VW) Universal car of their choosing through a specialized Access Bank Loan facility under the terms of the collaboration, and Alllianz Insurance will then cover the vehicle.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed yesterday at the VW Universal office in Accra, and Subhi Accad, CEO of Universal Motors, praised the alliance and declared that Volkswagen and its spare parts were here to stay in Ghana.
In order to demonstrate the great German engineering that distinguishes the brand, we have brought more than 15 distinct VW models to the Ghanaian market over the years. Our broad selection of vehicles, which includes the Polo, Passat, Touareg, and Amarok, meets the various needs of our consumers, he said.
According to him, the partnership gives Ghanaians access to an inexpensive payment plan, enabling many aspirational drivers to realize their ambition of owning a VW vehicle.
Olumide Olatunji, the managing director of Access Bank Ghana PLC, hailed the collaboration and urged Ghanaians to use the goods produced by the three organizations for their comfort and benefit.
The CEO of Allianz Ghana Insurance Limited, Mr. Ababacar Diaw, stated that his company is a global insurance brand that strives to provide Ghanaians and motorists with the finest premium quality insurance and protection through this policy.
He continued, "We can trust Allianz Insurance to offer the greatest defense and safety insurance for our cars and our lives.
The event's guest speaker, German Ambassador to Ghana Daniel Krull, urged the government to adopt measures that will guarantee the health of the automobile industry.
Ghanaians are passionate about automobiles, and he expressed the hope that this will revolutionize the way that the financial and insurance issues in the sector are handled.
