Tanzania Rail route Partnership (TRC) has informed general society about a mishap that happened at the rail and street intersection in the Kamata region on the morning of May 18, 2023.
The mishap included a traveler transport going between Machinga Complex and Kigamboni, which crashed into the brake carriage of Special Train number 8637.
Unfortunately, the mishap brought about the passing of one lady and made wounds fifteen people, including ten ladies and five men. All harmed people have been shipped to Muhimbili Public Medical clinic for therapy, and their circumstances are accounted for to be steady.
Considering this occurrence, TRC stresses the significance of street security and urges all drivers to give shut down consideration to street wellbeing signs, especially at rail and street convergences.
