Nigeria: The runway at Abuja Airport reopens following an airplane crash-landing

 


Mr Sirika says the runway has been cleared, reviewed and affirmed for tasks


Nigeria's Flight Pastor, Hadi Sirika, has said the Nnamdi Azikiwe Air terminal has been returned for activities hours after an airplane having a place with Max Air crash-arrived on Sunday evening.


The pastor revealed this in a tweet posted on his authority Twitter handle late Sunday night.


"The Maximum Air airplane has been towed away, the runway has been cleared, reviewed and ensured. The air terminal is currently resumed for activities. All around good administration and staff of Abuja. Because of every one of our clients for their understanding and understanding. We lament the inconvenience..." the pastor composed.


There was alarm at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Global Air terminal in Abuja on Sunday after an airplane having a place with Max Air which took off from Yola crash-arrived along the runway of the air terminal.


The episode happened around 3:00 p.m. furthermore, no casualty was recorded. Notwithstanding, the advancement grounded many flights coming all through Abuja for a few hours, PREMIUM TIMES accumulated.


As per Max Air, the impacted airplane had 143 travelers and a baby installed.

Mr Onyema encouraged the media not to sensationalize its revealing at whatever point such episodes happen.
