IMF-affected Koforidua roads will soon be fixed, MP promises.



Michael Okyere Baafi, a member of parliament for New Juaben South, claims that Koforidua's nasty streets were badly damaged as a result of Ghana's agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a bailout.


According to the MP, more than 80% of the streets in Koforidua have been made contractable, ensuring that when Ghana received the IMF agreement, workers for hire will soon be on the ground fixing the streets.


"I might want to express that the thorough street development projects experienced a sudden stop on the grounds that according to the IMF arrangements generally such works must be suspended until approval has been gotten to proceed.
